June 25th, 2024 - As CentOS 7 is scheduled to reach EOL on June 30, 2024, ProComputers offers 20% discount for all CentOS 7 virtual machines that are using TuxCare’s Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS) for CentOS 7.

Who qualifies for this 20% discount?

In order to qualify for this discount, you need to comply with the following two rules:

  1. You need to have at least one active subscription to a ProComputers packaged CentOS 7 image published in either AWS or Azure Marketplaces.
  2. You also need to register for TuxCare’s Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS) for CentOS 7.

It does not matter when you subscribed to these images. You can even subscribe today, start your CentOS 7 virtual machine, and register for TuxCare’s Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS) for CentOS 7.

How do I request the discount?

Once you successfully registered for TuxCare’s Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS) for CentOS 7, contact ProComputers Support and request the discount by sending an email with the following information:

  1. email subject: CentOS 7 when using TuxCare’s ELS for CentOS 7
  2. include in the email your AWS Account ID or Azure Subscription ID

The discount request must always be made through email by clicking the contact link in the paragraph above.

The discount is offered using AWS and Microsoft Azure Marketplaces private offers and associated with the AWS Account ID or Azure Subscription ID provided in the email request.

The discount is not applied to the public cloud usage fees; only the AWS and Microsoft Azure Marketplace seller software charges are discounted.

The discount is applied manually, therefore please allow 2-3 business days for the discount request to be processed. In some situations, some additional information may be requested before processing the discount.

The discount is initially applied for a period of 3 years, and may be extended on request.
